The desserts at this restaurant are absolutely adorable! The choux is was so tasty because of the custard filling. I just wish they had given more than one with the chocolate filling. Unfortunately the petit fours were not that great. They are overly sweet.
Just booked at Glenda's for Thursday night. It is my favourite Joburg restaurant. I love the atmosphere, delicious food, attention to detail and friendly staff. Nothing beats a breakfast, lunch or supper with Glenda.
Rich with flavor and the glazed ham on the cheese muffin really sent my taste buds on a swirling adventure🥰 This spot is definitely one for the books but I should caution you it is a bit pricy but worth every cent👌🏾
French Romance in the heart of Hyde Park. Whether you need to grab dinner with friends or have a champagne breakfast fit for a Queen, Glenda’s is the way to go. Always very impressed and will always be a returning patron. Glenda’s is simply magnificent.
Glenda's quirky and warm ambience made for a special evening out. The food was excellent - starting with freshly baked-out-the-oven cheese rolls on the house. For main course I had salmon fish cake, and my husband had the pork belly. Both were delicious.
All in all the quality of food was excellent fresh, tasty, well presented and portioned. Service was friendly and management hands on. Definitely will go back to try breakfast and dinner menus. Well done Glenda ;)
